Greetings from Cycling Mecca.
There are many things I could write about here…
The despair of having BOTH tubes blow before your ride; the joy of being back on the bike; the pleasure of riding without eighteen layers of warmth; the fun of being back with the best cycling club in all of America; the thrill of group riding (car back!); the pain of not having climbing legs in Cycling Mecca; the triumphant feeling when you hit the summit after a sufferfest;
But instead, I’ll just leave you with some images.
Prep
The calm before the climb
Getting dropped at the start
On the way up
The summit
The other side of the mountain
A good day for me and The Goat
Eat better.
Ride your bike.
Glory through suffering.
Fair winds and following seas, Willy
Yay! If I may be so bold, may I offer you some blogging advice? You’ve clearly identified MULTIPLE topics you could have written about, so… why not do it? 🙂
Those pictures look fantastic. Looking forward to hearing more about life on the Left Coast.

SO glad you were able to overcome the double flats and persevere on what appears to be a wonderful ride! Not to mention being happy to be able to read about it here. 🙂
